This is a photo that was taken by me on Week 4 of this semester. Although the photo itself is not bad and shows good color, there are a few spots of the image due to some rainwater getting on my lens. Next time I take a photo when it is raining, I will make sure to clean the lens before the photo. Other than this mistake, I do not think this is a bad photo.

These are characters designed by the artist of the week, Simone Legno. Legno is a Italian artist who was inspired by Japanese art and culture, so he designed many characters and art using this art style. Another obvious inspiration to his brand is graffiti and street art.
This is a photo that I took last month in Seaport Village. I tried my best to line up the shot so that the composition is as perfect as possible. I believe that I did an alright job at this part, but the image turned out a little distorted. This was likely due to the fact that I was shooting a relatively long exposure handheld. Next time I take a photo like this, I will be sure to set up my tripod so that the image is as clear as can be.
This is a work of art done by the artist of the week, Sara Steiber. Steiber has a very unique style, which she has dubbed "electric realism". From most of her art, the audience can infer that this style of electric realism consists of an ordinary scenario, but with intense and vibrant colors that create a very surreal scene.
This is a painting done by the artist of the week, Margaret Keane. Keane is known for the distinctive eyes on the people (usually children) in her paintings. An interesting fact about Margaret Keane is that her husband actually took credit for her work for years. Margaret Keane then took him to court where she won the case and regained credit for her art.
This is a photo of a fountain that I took while in Seaport Village. One way that this photo could be improved upon is better composition. This could have been fixed by simple moving the camera down a bit. This could have been a great photo, but that composition error was a large mistake on my part. Composition is one of the most important aspects of photography.
This is a piece of art done by Banksy, a graffiti artist whose identity remains a mystery. This graffiti caught my attention because the audience can tell that the artist thought outside of the box by using the already present lines in the street to create art. This also interested me because the image was still created even though there were changes in depth on the wall. This shows that Banksy also had to learn to work with what he's got in terms of the "canvas".
I believe that this entry for the Youth Art Month is the top entry out of the lot. I believe this to be true because it has great composition, while also having a contrast between the intense color of the leaves to the lack of color in background. There is also the presence of leading lines created by the edge of the shelf as well as the streaks of sunlight shining in-between the jars.
