This is one of the photos that I took for the Sweewater Authority Competition. Although the composition isn't bad and the focus is on point, I believe that there are a lot of elements of the photo that ruin it, such as the yard and the fence. Unfortunately, these are factors that I am not in control of.

This is a painting done by the artist of the week, Gustav Klim. As showcased in this painting, Klim uses metallic paint to paint decorative art. At first glance, the painting looks as though it is a random assortment of colors. However, it is when the audience looks closer, they are able to see that this is a man and a woman. It is this complexity that adds to the overall photo.
This is a piece of art done by the artist of the week, BenCab (or Benedicto Cabrera). In this painting, Cabrera displays juxtaposition between the bright orange background and the faded off-white colored people in the foreground. Cabrera also shows emotion on the faces of the people, who are clearly running from something with their children
In this photograph, the home, a symbol that represents life, is flipped upside down to symbolize how water changes people's perspective on life. This displays how people who have an abundance of water, and are able to consume it without worry, will not view life the same as people who have to struggle to get any form of drinking water.
